Hip Hop is a street dance It includes a wide range of style primarily breaking, locking and popping, and has transformed over the years from street dance to a more commercial, studio-based version. The resulting outcome is an energetic class that teaches not only Hip Hop movements and technique, but also instills rhythm and precision in your muscle memory. Taught in 3 sections: dance technique and warm-up, which includes both strength and stretch components; traveling motor skills; and movement combination, which utilises skills learned in the prior 2 sections.

  1. To promote, awareness and appreciation of hip hop
  2. To introduce, establish and maitain character building and self-discipline during dance class
  3. To develop and improve motor skills, co-ordination and musicality
